This song has a slow beat, driven by a melodic chain of tunes that convey a message of "mystery" and science fiction.  I would very much see this in a futuristic RTS/RPG/Space Flight Sim Game, but it could be used for just about anything else that wants a complimentary song that says "Mystery" or "Fantasy"
